Terms of Service

Last updated: June 2026

1. Provider & Scope

Journey (the “App”, “Service”) is provided by:
Andorfer Webdesign
Andre Andorfer, Mozartstr. 11, 94060 Pocking, Germany
Email: kollaboration@andorfer-webdesign.de

These Terms govern your use of Journey. By registering or using the Service you agree to them. Our Privacy Policy applies in addition.

2. The Service

Journey is a messenger with end-to-end encryption, an optional AI assistant, audio/video calls and a rewards system (Aura XP & levels). Core use is free; some features require the optional “RISE” subscription. We may further develop, change or discontinue features.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use Journey. You confirm that the information you provide at registration is accurate and that you use only the accounts intended for you.

4. Account & Security

You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any suspected unauthorized access. We recommend enabling two-factor authentication.

5. Acceptable Use & Prohibited Content

Journey must not be misused. The following are prohibited, in particular:

  • unlawful, harassing, threatening, hateful or harmful content
  • spam, bulk advertising, fraud or phishing
  • distributing malware or interfering with the infrastructure
  • infringing third-party rights (copyright, trademark, personality rights)
  • impersonation or unauthorized collection of data about other users

Violations may lead to suspension or deletion of your account.

6. User Content & Encryption

You are solely responsible for the content you send. Messages are end-to-end encrypted — we cannot technically read their content and therefore do not pre-screen it. You retain the rights to your content and grant us only the rights necessary to technically provide the Service.

7. Subscriptions & Purchases (RISE)

The optional “RISE” subscription and any in-app purchases are processed through your Apple App Store account. Payment, billing and auto-renewal are handled by Apple; you manage and cancel them in your App Store settings. Apple’s Standard EULA applies in addition. Your statutory right of withdrawal remains unaffected.

8. Third-Party Services

We use processors to provide the Service (incl. Supabase, Anthropic, RevenueCat, Expo, Stream). Details and legal bases are set out in the Privacy Policy.

9. Availability & Warranty

We strive for reliable operation but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability (e.g. during maintenance, outages or force majeure). The Service is provided on an “as available” basis.

10. Liability

We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence and for injury to life, body or health. For ordinary negligence we are liable only for breach of essential contractual obligations, limited to the foreseeable damage typical for this type of contract. Otherwise liability is excluded. Mandatory statutory provisions (incl. product liability law) remain unaffected.

11. Term & Termination

You can delete your account at any time in the app (Settings → Delete account). We may suspend or terminate the relationship in case of breaches of these Terms.

12. Changes

We may amend these Terms for valid reasons (e.g. changes in law or features). We will notify you of material changes in good time; continued use constitutes acceptance.

13. Governing Law & Contact

German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods; mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence remain unaffected. Questions: kollaboration@andorfer-webdesign.de.
